This senior-level position offers the opportunity to build and direct Software sector research for a premier equity research platform. The successful candidate will establish differentiated investment perspectives, maintain rigorous analytical standards, and develop meaningful relationships with institutional clients and industry management teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop an Enterprise Software research team positioned as go-to industry authorities
  • Define your coverage universe and research strategy with meaningful autonomy
  • Create a differentiated research product that stands apart in a crowded field
  • Publish impactful, timely research that influences institutional investment decisions
  • Develop sophisticated financial models that reflect true analytical depth and expertise
  • Design and host proprietary client events, conferences, and expert network sessions
  • Leverage our platform to expand your industry network significantly
  • Benefit from firm-wide visibility and recognition for exceptional work
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Advanced degree, MBA, or CFA strongly preferred)
  • Deep, demonstrable expertise in the Software industry is a plus
  • Substantial sell-side or buy-side Equity Research background with proven analytical capabilities
  • Alternatively: Software industry veterans with exceptional domain expertise and desire to transition into research
  • FINRA Series 7, 86, and 87 licenses required
  • Track record of independent, differentiated research that has driven investment decisions
  • Expert-level financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Established network of industry contacts, management relationships, and institutional clients

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $250,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
