Job Description
Ready to help shape the future of one of the world’s most loved brands? We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Project Manager, Tech Scouting to join the LEGO Group in Billund.
Within CAPEX & MRO procurement we are global responsible for sourcing and defining the global category direction, including supply market intelligence, vendor selection and global contracting. We will drive this through strong and systematic category management on all sub categories (Logistics,Moulding, Moulds & Moulds Manufacturing, Processing, Packing, HBW, Additive Manufacturing and Global MRO).
There is a significant value-creation potential in securing excellence and optimizing capital investments. Post purchase it is equally important to monitor the total cost of ownership especially through following maintenance, repair and operations. Sustain momentum and making way for balanced growth requires close collaboration across the eco-system. It's no longer just focusing on transparency about today's practices or about the footprint of the product, but on what the new value chain should look like as a system and how to get there at the right time with the right eco-system in order for TLG to reach 300 million kids by 2032.
Within Operations there is a demand for establishing new platforms for main processes such as Processing and Packing; to drive efficiency and new product features for the future. It is foreseen that this will require new capabilities and technologies hence there is a need for higher and structured focus in the innovation phase. This requires new capabilities beyond classic skills such category management and negotiation.
