This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).

Responsibilities

  • Experience managing day-to-day operational accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and compliance with internal controls.
  • Drive process improvements to streamline close timelines and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support audit preparation and respond to audit requests.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Oversee and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses across multiple entities.
  • Work across multiple accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks) and integrate data from various platforms.
  • Lead and manage accounting teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients or internal leadership on operational accounting best practices.
  • Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, tax, and treasury.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA / CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Controller or similar leadership role.
  • Strong background in operational accounting, including month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple ERP systems (NetSuite, Intacct, etc.) and ability to adapt to new platforms quickly.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (remote and in-person collaboration).
