The Nursing Float Pool offers a dynamic and collaborative environment built on trust, adaptability, and professional growth. Certified nursing assistants in this department demonstrate a high level of autonomy and accountability as they support multiple units and diverse patient populations. Team members are empowered to make sound clinical decisions, manage their assignments independently, and adapt quickly to changing needs. • Schedule: 6:45am - 7:15pm, Day Shift, Full-Time (Shift Differential for 2p-7:15p; Float Pool Differential)
• Department: Nursing Float Pool
• Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
• Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
• Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
