Job Description

About this opportunity

The primary purpose of the role is to set up injection moulding dies for production. This is an afternoon and night shift rotating roster.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Working in a team environment
• Use of lock out procedures to ensure safety
• Safely removing and installing injection moulds for production
• Availability, willingness to work overtime for mould changes requiring more than one die setter
• Following procedures in place to ensure work is done in a safe manner
• Preparing moulds for upcoming die changes – testing heaters and position switches
• Ensuring that moulds are stored correctly
• Helping with troubleshooting when machine is started with the new job
• Communicating with incoming and outgoing shifts to ensure a smooth changeover with ongoing work

Your skills and experience

• Experience in Die Setting
• Operating 10T overhead crane
• Mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• Polymer Processing Certificate Advantageous
• Forklift License
