Assistant Specialist Research

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Plan and execute agronomic activities (planting, harvesting, sampling) in alignment with timelines and quality standards.
  • Collect and validate operational data to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for visibility of key metrics using tools such as Power BI and SQL.
  • Apply data analysis and predictive modeling to optimize resource allocation and process efficiency.
  • Implement precision agriculture technologies and digital solutions for real-time data capture and reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate temporary staff to ensure compliance with best practices and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce variability, and support innovation goals.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and integration of data into enterprise systems for traceability and reporting.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in agronomic operations and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, SQL); programming experience (Python, R) preferred.
  • Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and digital platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • English/Spanish bilingual.
  • Valid driver’s license (B1 minimum)
  • Member of professional college.
