Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager of the Central Resource Group (or the Nursing Supervisor), the incumbent is responsible for assessing 24-hour nursing staff based upon information gathered from a variety of sources. Assures staffing resources and nursing unit needs are appropriately matched on a weekly, daily and shift-by-shift basis. Insures accurate information in the nurse scheduling system for transfer to payroll nightly.
Records, processes and maintains scheduling and staffing information for Department of Nursing in the Medical Center. Collaborates with staffing coordinators at respective sites: Parnassus and Mission Bay. Rotation to both Parnassus and Mission Bay may be required to cover operational needs, such as: vacation, sick calls, etc. at either campus site.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $37.85 - $47.13 (Hourly Rate).
