Job Title: Batch Mix Machine Operator - 1st shift 8am to 4:30pm - $26 to $29 an hour

Job Description

As a General Production Operator, you will begin each shift by meeting with your team lead or supervisor to review your assigned batches for the day. You will be responsible for transitioning from paper batching sheets to digital formats on the computer, reviewing batch orders, and utilizing SAP to request necessary materials. Your duties will include cleaning and verifying equipment before mixing, weighing and charging materials with organic solvents and powders, and ensuring quality checks are completed by the quality department. You may also be required to run more than one batch at a time after the training period and use a dolly to move large chemical drums. Most tasks will be performed individually.

Responsibilities

• Meet with team lead/supervisor at the start of each shift to review assigned batches.

• Utilize SAP to request materials needed for production.
• Clean and verify equipment before mixing.
• Weigh and charge materials, working with organic solvents and powders.
• Ensure quality checks are completed by the quality department.
• Run multiple batches simultaneously after training.
• Use a dolly to move large chemical drums.
• Perform tasks independently.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a role requiring extreme attention to detail.
• At least 1 year of experience in data entry or computer literacy.
• At least 1 year of batching experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year in a chemical manufacturing role is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience utilizing SAP is a plus.
• Familiarity with 5S is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment requires the use of personal protective equipment, including steel toe shoes, lab coats, and safety glasses, all provided. It is a non-climate-controlled setting, which can be hot in the summer and cooler in the winter.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
