Job Overview
The Production Clerk provides clerical support to production supervisors and management.
Job Responsibilities
- Calculate/summarize daily production paperwork for supervisor/management review.
- Maintain employee attendance and timekeeping records.
- Distribute production schedules to line personnel.
- Review production documentation and maintains accurate reports.
- Utilize system functions such as Word, Excel, SAP, etc.
- Maintain accurate and complete files.
- Work with management to provide any kind of clerical support needed.
- Communication effectively.
- All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the states safety policies and procedures.
- All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our Quality Food Program.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
- Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
- Ability to handle multiples tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve,
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows applications.
- Kronos experience.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in an office setting.
- Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
