### The Role The Account Executive (m/w/d) is a high-impact, results-driven, German-speaking sales role responsible for expanding the Uber Eats restaurant network in the Cologne region. You will aggressively acquire new merchant partners, negotiate contracts, and drive local growth targets. ### Key Responsibilities - **Acquisition & Sales:** Prospect and close new high-value merchant partnerships in the Cologne territory. - **Strategy:** Execute multi-channel acquisition (cold calling, mailing, social media) to manage the sales pipeline. - **Negotiation:** Lead contract negotiations, establishing strong, mutually beneficial commercial terms. - **Targeting:** Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. - **Collaboration:** Work cross-functionally with Operations to ensure seamless merchant activation and onboarding. - **Ambassador:** Clearly communicate the Uber Eats value proposition and represent the brand locally. ### What You'll Need We require an experienced "hunter" with a strong background in B2B acquisition. - **Sales Expertise (2+ years):** Minimum two years of B2B experience in prospecting, pipeline management, and closing. - **Acquisition Focus (2+ years):** Proven success in a high-volume sales role (e.g., AE, Hunter) with strong emphasis on **outbound cold acquisition**. - **CRM/Data:** Daily, hands-on experience using **Salesforce** or similar CRM for tracking and forecasting. - **Communication:** Fluent written and verbal skills in both **German** and **English**. - **Business Acumen:** Exceptional ability to build customer relationships, manage complex portfolios, and prioritize effectively. - **Mobility:** Willingness to travel frequently within the Cologne region. - **Bonus:** Familiarity with the **restaurant/hospitality industry** and basic digital marketing knowledge.
