Job Description

  • Design and develop suitable business strategic plans for the Safety Business.
  • Lead the Management team in all aspects of their business, ensure department development.
  • Communicate with Management Team and peers to share resources, ideas and ensure the development of new services in lines with the Management Plan.
  • Take Management and Strategy decisions to improve dept. performance.
  • Be close to the market and competition in order to identify and explore opportunities for growth (new services & acquisitions) .
  • Guide the operations team of all locations in all aspects of their business, ensuring the development of the department.
  • Manage the heads of Fields and their subordinates in order to share resources, ideas and ensure the development of new services in line with the Management Plan.
  • Adopt suitable management decisions and strategy to improve dept. performance.
  • Assists the Business Manager and Technical Manager in the management of any Claims and / or Complaints.
  • Cooperate with the Technical Manager for applying the rules for the certification and / or accreditation, ensuring improvement at all levels of operation within its competence.
  • Ensure and adopt, at all times, a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS employees and clients, in line with SGS policies and procedures.
  • Comply, at all times, with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic, electrical engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of operational/management experience in TIC industry
  • 5+ years of product safety certification reviewer experience (ITAV, MED, or MD)
  • Expertise in electronic communication lab (Safety, MD), optic lab (LED industry), and calibration lab
  • Strong technical knowledge of analytical processes and international standards
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisive actions
  • Commitment to SGS standards of ethics and integrity
