Position Summary
The Manager, Enterprise Platforms – Manufacturing & QA plays a key role in advancing Empower’s digital manufacturing and quality ecosystem by aligning technology, process, and compliance to drive operational excellence across production and quality operations. This position oversees the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise platforms including ERP, MES, LIMS, and QMS, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity across manufacturing, quality, and regulatory workflows. By partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, IT, and Engineering teams, the role ensures system capabilities enable efficiency, traceability, and real-time insight across all operational layers. Through collaborative leadership, innovation, and technical expertise, the Manager, Enterprise Platforms – Manufacturing & QA empowers teams, strengthens compliance, and supports Empower’s mission to deliver high-quality medications through digitally optimized operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise systems supporting manufacturing operations and quality assurance, including ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), and QMS (Quality Management Systems).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, IT, Accounting, and Engineering—to ensure enterprise systems are effectively integrated into core operational and compliance processes.
- Serves as a people leader who mentors, develops, and empowers team members to achieve high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Act as the primary liaison between QA/Manufacturing business units and IT, translating operational and quality requirements into system functionality and enhancements.
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow across manufacturing, quality control, batch record management, deviation tracking, and compliance reporting, aligning with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
- Utilize enterprise system capabilities to drive operational efficiency, ensure product quality, enable real-time production monitoring, and support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and QA environments.
- Continuously evaluates and matures the manufacturing and quality systems landscape to identify opportunities for efficiency, integration, and digital process optimization aligned with business objectives.

Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations and quality systems, with a strong understanding of end-to-end GMP-compliant processes, including production, batch record management, deviation handling, and product release.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management and build high-performing teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing or administering enterprise systems (ERP, MES, QMS, LIMS, and/or related technologies) within a manufacturing or quality assurance environment, including at least 5 years managing a team supporting these systems in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
