Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Pharmacy Technician Automation Specialist. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for Pharmacy and providing great customer service for our patients we serve. This position will be serving our inpatient population primarily in the pharmacy supply Pharmacy location. The position will focus on ensuring medication supply of the Swisslog Robot packaging system, assisting with Omnicell or other activities related to inventory control such as workflow enhancements, auditing, training staff, and simple equipment troubleshooting .
Must have minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Tech experience and preferred qualifications include proficiency in Swisslog Robot packaging, strong ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, and ability to coordinate workflow enhancements.

Pharmacy Automation Specialist Duties:
Provides proactive management, planning and administration of pharmacy automation systems including but not limited to Omnicell, Swisslog, Codonics and Willow Inventory. Works under the direct supervision of the central operation pharmacy manager(s) to establish and maintain appropriate inventory control, auditing, and workflow compliance as established by leadership. Coordinates with product supply staff colleagues to supports improved patient care, minimize errors, enhance patient safety and provide new opportunities to realize value. Establish relationships and coordinate vital activities with automation vendors to repair, optimize and maintain new or existing equipment.
