Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Candy Maker to join our innovative team at the sweetest place in Mifflin County. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of confections, utilizing both traditional techniques and modern methodologies to create exceptional candy products that delight our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the candy-making process to maintain the highest product standards.
  • Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to specific recipes.
  • Visually inspect finished products for defects.
  • Package finished products, weigh and label boxes, and place them into cartons.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of candy-making machinery, such as mixing, cooking, and molding machines.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment after use.
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Work with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
