We are looking for a Full Stack Lead Software Engineer to join our team.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience in AWS services like: RDS, Lambdas, CloudFormation, DynamoDB
• 2+ years of experience in JavaScript, Angular/React
• 2+ years of experience working with distributed event processing systems like Kafka
• 3+ years of experience working with agile methodology and scrum process
• 3+ years of experience working with Jenkins CI/CD
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
• Proficiency in English

It Would Be Great If You Also Have …

• If you have previously worked on systems that process large amounts of data
• Experience using ElasticSearch

What will you be doing in this role?

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards.
• Review other code to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Define architecture of software solution.
• Implements software for specifications of high complexity for limited scale systems, or medium to high complexity for large-scale systems.
• Responds to direct or indirect customer inquiries regarding function and design and attends customer meetings.
• Writes application technical documentation.
• Participates as a team member on various engineering projects and may lead small projects.

Product you will be developing

The Vega Discover project which is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions.

About the team

The team has been together for about 4 years of with highly skilled engineers, based in Serbia. The project assignment will be working on the Vega application for our Engineering and Project Stakeholders. The team will report to a local manager for guidance and tasking.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent, full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone. This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
