Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join a leading innovator in robotic automation and material handling equipment as a Mechanical Assembler. You will work with cutting-edge technology to build and assemble equipment primarily for the Food and Beverage and Chemical industries. Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver quality workmanship and contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities

• Build machinery using machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and bills of materials, while solving problems as needed.
• Engage in efforts to reduce or eliminate non-value-added work throughout the organization.
• Proficiently use hand tools for structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly, ensuring quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Conduct quality assurance checks according to Blue Book standards.
• Provide accurate documentation, including labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.
• Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including 'Kanban'.
• Prepare equipment for shipment, which may include machine teardown.

Work Environment

Work the first shift from Monday to Thursday. Voluntary overtime may be available on Fridays or Saturdays. The facility is clean and well-lit, with assemblers working in groups of 2-6.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
