CNC Swiss Machinist (All Shifts)

Shift Hours (includes 20 min paid lunch; Monday-Friday workweek)

1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm

2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

3rd shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

"We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role, inclusive of shift differential, is $23.00-$31.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.”

Position Summary:

The Swiss CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines according to job specifications.
  • Load raw materials and verify tooling alignment and offsets.
  • Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Make necessary program edits and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
  • Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
  • Perform preventative machine maintenance as required.
  • Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including two years minimum of Swiss CNC experience REQUIRED
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances required.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic knowledge of lean manufacturing.
