Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our 1st shift (6am - 2pm) operations. The role involves supervising shipping and receiving processes, managing inventory, coordinating schedules, and ensuring efficient plant operations. Candidates should have experience in the automotive industry, particularly with tier 1 or OEM customers, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate schedules for hi-lo drivers, clerks, schedulers, and production workers to ensure timely inventory handling.
• Manage inventory processes and ensure accuracy in warehouse operations.
• Oversee and optimize warehouse logistics and supply chain functions.
• Maintain effective communication with tier 1 or OEM customers.

Essential Skills

• Experience in logistics and warehouse management.
• Strong supervisory skills with experience in inventory and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with tier 1 or OEM customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Warehouse Management certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and optimization techniques.

Work Environment

Work in a quiet, clean, and fast-paced warehouse area. The position involves managing a team of six individuals on a 1st shift, 6am - 2pm, Monday through Friday, with additional Saturdays and holidays as needed due to industry demands. Employees are provided with a company cell phone and laptop to facilitate their dut

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
