Responsibilities

Lead national initiatives within patient safety and regulatory services. Responsible for regional partnership, collaboration and coaching oversight to the management of patient safety programs.

  • Develop a comprehensive approach to achieve external standards for quality, safety, and reliability including data management and outcomes reporting.
  • Understanding and experience in a serious safety review program and leading root cause analysis investigations.Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
  • Partner with leadership on accountability measures, structures and processes for safety outcomes.
  • Skilled in coordinating diverse teams, managing stakeholders, and communicating project status and risks to upper management. Success depends heavily on the ability to motivate teams and facilitate effective communication.
  • Strong analytic, technical, and interpersonal skills, including a strong ability to analyze data, project management expertise, and excellent communication.
  • HRO knowledge and experience.
  • Understanding of CMS CoPs.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

Additional Preferences:

  • RN License, CPPS, CPHQ, CHFE, preferred.
  • 1-2 years of knowledge of human factors and how to apply the concepts into process improvement projects, human factors engineering, preferred.
  • 1-2 years in process improvement methodology such Lean, Six Sigma, etc., preferred.
