Qualys is looking for a talented Front-end Engineer to help shape the user experience of our cutting-edge, web-based SaaS security products. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building intuitive, data-rich interfaces that empower users and elevate our platform’s usability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Collaborate: Work closely with UX/UI designers and fellow engineers to design, prototype, and implement sophisticated cloud-based security applications.
UI Integration: Assist in integrating UI components with backend services, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
Enhance and Maintain: Support and improve existing user interfaces while contributing to new features and advanced capabilities.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve UI-related issues using modern debugging and testing tools.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in front-end development.
Core Skills: Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of browser DOM.
JavaScript Expertise: Solid grasp of concepts like lexical scoping, closures, object-oriented JavaScript, and hosting.
Frameworks: Proficiency in native JavaScript and experience with frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Redux, and Highcharts.
Design Implementation: Ability to accurately translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces.
Accessibility: Familiarity with accessibility standards and 508 compliance.
Security Awareness: Understanding of front-end security best practices, including XSS and CSRF mitigation.
Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
AI Hands-on Experience: Exposure to integrating AI-driven features or working with AI tools in front-end applications is a plus.
