Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team on the 2nd shift, working from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM over four 10-hour shifts, with opportunities for voluntary overtime on Fridays. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming with Cimatron and Powermill software offline, and working with Haas controls on CNC Mills. You will focus on value-added machining for parts produced via metal injection molding, including milling holes and material reduction.

Responsibilities

• Program new runs using CAD software with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience.
• Run the first part and prove out your own programs.
• Support the production floor by ensuring programs meet operational needs.
• Utilize software for offline programming and ensure compatibility with machine controls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations across departments.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using Cimatron and Powermill for offline programming.
• Experience with Haas controls on CNC Mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent programming experience with CAD software.
• Proven ability to run first part and validate programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in metal injection molding or similar industries.
• Knowledge of EDM work is beneficial.
• Familiarity with the medical, defense, aerospace, and non-automotive industries.

Our facility includes 9 injection mold machines, 2 Haas mills, 1 grinder, and 1 EDM, with additional machining centers due to increased workload. The plant supports around 4-6 startups per day, involving mold changes and calibration by process technicians.
