Job Description
A Glimpse of the Job
The Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the area of Energy Policy will focus on generating academic publications related to various substantive energy policy areas. This position will directly support ongoing research projects as assigned by the Institute Director. These projects are expected to be related to the current state of the U.S. energy grid, including supply, demand, and transmission with a particular focus on data centers.
Opportunities to Contribute
Research Publications: Participate in preparation of scholarly publications, presentations, and research reports based on appropriate application of theories and analysis of the research data.
Research Field Support: Contribute to the design of the research. As needed, assist in data collection, coding of data, and maintenance of research records and databases.
Training Student Research Assistants: Collaborate with and oversee Bush School students on research projects, clearly explain research needs, and train in necessary data collection, coding of data, and data maintenance.

Location: This is a full-time staff position at the Mosbacher Institute’s office located on-site at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. A typical workday schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office space provided.
