Job Description: Principal Revenue Operations Analyst

The Revenue Operation’s System team plays a pivotal role as part of the larger Sales Operations team that supports all business units at Opentext, globally. Specifically, this team focuses on the support and enhancements of our primary CRM tool (Salesforece.com) that allows our Sales and Support teams to operate efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview

The Principal Revenue Operations Analyst is a senior-level role recognized as an internal expert in Revenue Operations. This position applies broad industry expertise and deep knowledge across multiple disciplines to lead large-scale projects and programs that drive operational excellence and strategic impact. The role is accountable for end-to-end solutions that influence business unit results and contributes to shaping functional objectives, policies, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Program Ownership

  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that translate complex business needs into scalable, high-impact solutions across Salesforce.com and integrated platforms.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of programs, including requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder alignment, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of functional objectives and recommend policies and standards that guide operational practices.
  • Serve as a thought partner to Sales, IT, and Revenue Operations leadership, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and strategic enablement.

Technical Expertise & Innovation

  • Data & Analytics Leadership:

o Ensure data integrity and governance across Salesforce systems, driving consistency, accuracy, and compliance with business rules.

o Champion the use of AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance sales productivity.

o Design and maintain advanced reporting and analytics frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making for Sales and Revenue Operations.

  • Salesforce CPQ & Billing Integrations:

o Ability to design and implement end-to-end CPQ integration workflows that support complex pricing, quoting, and billing processes.

o Expertise in mapping data models between Salesforce CPQ, SAP ERP, and Zuora, ensuring seamless synchronization of product catalogs, pricing rules, and invoicing.

o Proven track record in managing CPQ implementation or migration projects, including configuration, testing, and cutover planning.

  • Salesforce Agentforce for Sales Cloud:

o Strong understanding of Agentforce capabilities to enhance sales productivity, including AI-driven lead prioritization, guided selling, and workflow automation.

o Experience configuring Agentforce features to support Sales Cloud processes such as opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, and account engagement.

o Ability to leverage Agentforce analytics and AI recommendations to improve sales efficiency, conversion rates, and overall revenue performance.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead large project teams and mentor other analysts, providing oversight on deliverables, methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, creating formal and informal networks to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
  • Communicate complex issues and recommendations in a simplified, strategic manner to diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.

Special Initiatives

  • Drive M&A system integration efforts, leading discovery, mapping, and execution of CRM convergence and cutover plans.
  • Apply advanced project management practices to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with precision, clarity, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 10–12 years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related fields, with a strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to influence, mentor, and lead teams; exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise:

o Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce.com, including configuration, data modeling, and integration; Salesforce certifications are a strong asset.

o Proven experience in process design, user stories, test planning, UAT execution, and change management.

o Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization, including Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

o Experience with AI tools and automation platforms in a sales or revenue operations context.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

o Salesforce Certified Administrator

o Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

o Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist

o AI/Automation-related certifications (e.g., Salesforce Einstein)

o PMP or equivalent project management certification
