CNC Grinder Operator
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Grinder Operator for a client in the Rochester area In this role, you will set up and operate CNC grinders, ensuring all parts meet specifications and quality standards. Strong math skills and shop knowledge are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC ID cylindrical grinders
- Perform grinding operations according to shop specifications
- Inspect first-piece and ongoing production to ensure quality standards are met
- Use precision measuring tools and gauging equipment
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC grinding experience and/or formal training
- Strong understanding of shop math and machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
