Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate assigned Engineers, Designers, Technicians, and intradepartmental team members for efficient and successful execution of projects and other engineering needs
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility during the scoping process (Business Gates 1 and 2)
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for each project to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification and communication techniques, including all stakeholders
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report project progress to management on a timely and regular basis; elevate any significant threats to the project to management as needed, by coordinating project meetings
  • Successfully manage the relationships among all stakeholders, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, quality, service, purchasing and finance
  • Perform continuous risk assessment and follow up with appropriate recommendations
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and record-keeping
  • Constantly strive to learn and understand technical challenges so to best facilitate timely solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years successful project management experience, using the stage-gate process, in the consumer sector, preferably in the HVAC/R and related markets
  • Minimum of five years demonstrated and successful team leadership
  • Established technical background with understanding and/or hands-on and/or design experience in consumer product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Proven organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, or other project management software competency
  • BS in Engineering preferred
  • MS in Business preferred
  • PMP Certification preferred
