Your Role

Our BIAhub team empowers the Körber Group with data-driven insights, modern architectures, and scalable analytics solutions.

As a SAP Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize data integration and analytics solutions across our SAP landscape, ensuring reliable data flows and enabling informed, data-driven decisions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using SAP technologies (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Core Data Services, SAP Datasphere).
  • Collaborate with Data Architects, Analysts, and Business SMEs to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance across SAP and integrated systems.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance data architecture and automation.
  • Provide technical expertise during SAP transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Maintain clear documentation and promote best practices in data engineering.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA modeling, and/or SAP Datasphere development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT design, and integration technologies (APIs, OData, CDS Views).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, and data security.
  • Skilled in data modeling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional models).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; fluent in English (German is a plus).
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in an agile, international environment.
