The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton is looking for their next Cook l to support the culinary team! This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with six dining options.

This role will be supporting Diplomat Prime Steakhouse. The ideal candidate has at least three years of line cook experience in an upscale restaurant, with strong time management and attention to detail. They are skilled in cooking methods such as grilling, baking, and sautéing, and follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent quality. Knowledge of food safety and safe use of kitchen equipment is essential, along with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Shift Pattern: The typical hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 PM/ Full availability is required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
