Salaried position, flexible and variable schedule including night, evening, and weekend hours to accommodate position requirements including being assigned weeks on the on-call rotation, treatment and supervision services for clients, availability outside of normal business hours to assist staff and community partners, routine travel and training.

What You’ll Do

As a Community Corrections Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential officers to ensure effective client supervision and professional growth.
  • Manage staffing schedules, leave requests, performance evaluations, and daily facility operations.
  • Provide direct mentorship through regular meetings, feedback, and training on correctional best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
  • Oversee continuous quality improvement efforts, monitoring staff development and client outcomes.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:

  1. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in any field, and experience equal to four years of full-time work in human services, criminal justice, or corrections.
  2. A total of eight years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.
  3. Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as a Probation/Parole Officer 3.
