Job Title: Order Picker

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this role is to locate, retrieve, and prepare products from a warehouse for shipment. This position is essential to ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret order tickets to identify required products.
• Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to pick items.
• Verify order accuracy and maintain proper inventory records.
• Package and stage orders correctly for delivery or shipping.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Essential Skills

• Experience with picking, order picking, and packing.
• Proficiency in general labor tasks and use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with inventory management and material handling.
• Experience with RF scanners, shipping, and receiving.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items as required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
• Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus, but not required.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled and clean, with standard hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
