Position Summary:
The Printing Machine Operator/Cutter will be responsible for operating large-format printing equipment, cutting materials to specification, and ensuring all production tasks are completed accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow digital instructions via an iPad, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain large printing machines according to established procedures.
- Set up print jobs by following step-by-step instructions displayed on an iPad.
- Perform cutting tasks with precision using industrial cutting equipment.
- Monitor equipment for proper operation and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Lift, move, and load materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating printing or manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable using an iPad or digital interface for work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
