Located in Appleton, WI
Salary: $27.50/HR
Direct Hire Opportunity!!
Hours: Friday - Sunday, 5am - 5pm
Pay: $27.50/HR+
Duties:
- Responsible for operating multiple machines simultaneously, specifically Swiss lathes. This involves monitoring the machines, ensuring they run smoothly, and making adjustments as needed.
- Receiving orders through various methods such as Kanban and line stock, and effectively managing production orders.
- Setting up and operating machines within the cell, ensuring they are configured correctly.
- Utilizing various inspection tools to measure and inspect parts to meet quality standards.
- Managing the ordering of materials and tooling required for production.
- Handling the shipping of materials, including finished products or components.
Qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- A Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in a Machine Tool program or 5-7 years of previous experience is required
- 1 year of experience with mathematics, blueprints and measuring devices required
- Must be able to do set-ups
- Must have the ability to comprehend and perform SPC charting and make adjustments on machines to meet print specifications
- Position requires a team player, a self-starter with good communication skills
- Cross training is required on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and have the ability to lift 50lbs continuously
