Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist III for the Public Health Research Institute Center at the New Jersey Medical School.
A Research Teaching Specialist-III (RTS-III) position is immediately available to conduct research in the area of mycobacterial host-pathogen interactions and COVID-19 pathogenesis studies using animal models under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). The requirements include: keep abreast of technical and theoretical knowledge related to mycobacterial pathogenesis. Conduct experiments in BSL3 settings, collect, record and analyze data, prepare reports for peer- reviewed scientific publications and conference presentations, and contribute to the writing of IACUC and IBC applications and grants. Reports all research activities to the PI and trains fellows in relevant techniques as directed by PI.
