Parts Counter Associate

Job Description

The Parts Counter Associate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with determining the appropriate parts for their equipment, processing orders, and supporting the sales and service departments. This position requires someone with mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of engine systems.

Pay:

• $24-26/Hours

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying the correct parts requirements for their equipment.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Support the sales and service departments with parts-related inquiries.
• Unload deliveries from trucks and organize inventory on shelves.
• Fulfill and prepare orders for outbound shipment.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain meticulous records.

Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of parts experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience working with inventory systems.
• Personable and approachable demeanor.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aberdeen, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
