Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

Join our team as a Welder and Fabricator where you will work from drawings, layouts, and sketches to plan and lay out work. You will be responsible for determining and selecting materials and gauges of metals, and laying out sheets or structural materials to very close tolerances to achieve the desired length or form.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various types of metalworking equipment such as Mechanical Shear, CNC Press Brakes, CNC Hydraulic Saw, CNC Dual Head Saw, CNC Punch Press, and Power Rolling Equipment.
  • Make complex setups of special machines, adjust strokes and safety devices, and ensure proper operation.
  • Detect faulty materials and notify supervision of unusual equipment and operating problems.
  • Perform Stick, MIG, and TIG welding.
  • Be willing to train on all machinery and types of welding.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience with welding and/or CNC machining.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Press Brake, MIG Welder, Assembly, TIG Welding, and Welding.

Work Environment

This role is for the 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm. Work in a facility that hosts over 500 employees and includes three separate unions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61401.60 - $61401.60/yr.
