Fleet Mechanic 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday)

Job Description

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on the company fleet vehicles. You will ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, focusing on medium and heavy-duty diesel tractor and trailer maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance within the fleet department.
• Respond to service calls as required.
• Create work orders in SAP and ensure working times and tasks are logged into the computer, as well as stock parts pulled from inventory.
• Maintain tools and clean up the work area before the end of the shift.
• Participate in and adhere to required safety training.
• Support departments by communicating out-of-service vehicles and downtimes.

The pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $70720.00/yr.
