Job Description

Step into a global leadership role where you will guide a team of highly skilled Insights professionals and shape the research that fuels decision-making across the LEGO Group!

We operate a hybrid working model (Best of Both): three days per week in our Billund office and up to two days from home.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, reporting to the Head of the Data Platforms Team, you will lead the Platforms & Partner Management team to drive operational excellence, elevate platform performance, and deliver actionable single-source consumer and shopper insights across the organisation.

  • Manage 9 platform specialists, fostering efficiency, clarity of purpose, and a strong culture of partnership.
  • Build positive relationships that fuel innovation and assist the leader of the Data Platforms group in budget management and contract negotiations.
  • Optimise platform performance and strengthen methodologies, ensuring GI survey trackers embed the right questions.
  • Support the budgeting cycle by preparing and analysing proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with other Data Platform areas to shape, plan, and prioritise platform innovation and development initiatives.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of the annual PMP critical metric target recommendation and monthly reporting, with the Head holding ultimate responsibility for senior partner submissions.
  • Coordinate delivery timelines and prioritise resources for custom business requests requiring single-source data analysis.
  • Lead contract discussions with trusted partners to secure favourable, strategically aligned terms, keeping the Head informed throughout.
  • Build and sustain strong partner relationships that enhance alignment, collaboration, and long-term value.
  • Promote a ONE TEAM culture across the full Data Platforms organisation to ensure seamless information flow and cohesive insight delivery.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for trusted partners, managing expectations and communications effectively.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in Data, Strategy, or Research roles — from local to global scope.
  • Experience leading vendor partnerships, ideally with exposure to roadmap planning.
  • Skilled at delivering engaging training programmes that increase adoption and effective use of data platforms across an organisation.
  • A problem solver who guides teams to deliver clear, compelling research with commercial impact.
  • Experience leading mid-sized teams (Senior Managers and Managers) and working across cross-functional and international environments.
  • Background in change management, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and inspire teams through transformation.
  • Strong affinity for technology and how it can drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, embraces innovation, and feels energized by challenging traditional ways of working!
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working with data, analytics, and dashboard tools.
