We are seeking a candidate who is keen on working and communicating with customers and open to learning about marine CO2 reporting regulations and digital methods of verifying CO2 emissions. In this role, you will help clients follow industry regulations and meet environmental targets by ensuring they can efficiently use our digital services. You enjoy investigating system-related issues and are open to learning technical skills while providing excellent service via email, ticketing tool and from time to time during online meetings.

We don’t expect you to know everything — we will train you on the regulatory frameworks and digital tools so you can succeed.

Communication-related:

  • Assist customers in finding solutions and becoming trusted advisors by fostering long-term relationships.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally via email and ticketing tools.
  • Take charge of creating and updating communication materials like guidelines, client support documents, FAQs, internal manuals, process flows, and mass communications.
  • Promote and apply communication principles across the team.

Technical-related:

  • Investigate and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying recurring technical/system-related issues and collaborate internally to suggest system improvements.
  • Review and verify technical documentation for various types of vessels.
  • Work closely with the internal production team to understand regulations, processes, systems, and verification tools.

About you

To maximise your chances, you need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields like naval architecture, mechanical engineering, nautical studies, environmental technologies, or data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal), as it's our official communication language.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the maritime industry or customer-facing environments.
  • Strong interest in learning technical troubleshooting and system investigation.
  • Attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset to provide accurate and quick solutions to our customers.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Greenhouse Gases and MARPOL Annex VI.
  • Familiarity with ship systems, both operational and technical.
  • Previous experience in an (IT) helpdesk role or as 1st line support.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools and/or ticketing systems.
