About the role

As a Full Stack (.NET) Lead Developer, you will make an impact by leading the design and development of scalable, secure, and innovative enterprise applications. You will be a valued member of the Tax Innovation Technology team, collaborating closely with technical leads, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive efficiency for our Tax Line of Service (LoS) engagement teams and clients.

In this role, you will:

Lead full-stack development efforts across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.

Architect and implement modular monoliths, microservices, and event-driven systems using Clean Architecture and CQRS.

Guide technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.

Build and scale .NET (C#/ASP.NET Core) applications orchestrating multi-agent workflows and streaming updates.

Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and pair/mob programming sessions to ensure high-quality, secure code delivery.

Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. What you need to have to be considered:

7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

Expertise in .NET Core/.NET 6+ and .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework Core.

Strong frontend experience with Angular (v16+), NgRx, and Single-SPA microfrontends.

Proven experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SignalR, and SQL Server optimization.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Deep understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS (MediatR), and event-driven systems (MassTransit, Azure Service Bus/EventHubs).

Familiarity with GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and AI engineering frameworks.

Experience with Azure cloud services including Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights.

These will help you stand out:

Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector/hybrid search (Azure AI Search).

Familiarity with Microsoft Semantic Kernel or similar agent orchestration frameworks.

Knowledge of Power BI REST APIs and integration with data warehouses/lakehouses.

Strong background in testing (xUnit, Jasmine/Karma, E2E), TDD, and Agile methodologies.

Experience with authentication/authorization using JWT Bearer tokens and OpenAM.
