Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-process quality testing to ensure product standards.
  • Verify accuracy of labels according to FDA regulations.
  • Test for fill weight, lot codes, expiration dates, leakers, label placement, foreign material, and shipping labels.
  • Submit samples to QC Chemistry and QC Microbiology labs for testing hourly.
  • Complete paperwork and submit reports, including weight averages and batch record reviews.
  • Monitor and address QC issues, including non-conforming products, with the authority to stop production if necessary.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and investigations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous QA/QC experience in a GMP environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streamwood, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
