Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This position involves setting up and operating complex or precision processes, providing technical support to meet production goals, and resolving production issues through root-cause analysis. You will be responsible for testing products, building prototypes, and participating in continuous improvement activities. Additionally, you will oversee R&D production runs and develop necessary documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate complex or precision processes as assigned.
  • Test products using equipment such as Network Analyzers.
  • Provide technical support and oversight to production to meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery goals.
  • Resolve production issues using root-cause analysis and establish corrective actions.
  • Build and test engineering samples and prototypes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production processes.
  • Oversee R&D production runs to validate manufacturing processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and update work instructions and other related documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in assembly and use of hand tools.
  • Experience with electronics testing and blueprint reading.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools is preferred.
  • Technical writing experience is preferred.
  • Formal problem-solving training (RCA, PDCA, 8D, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Shifts

  • Day (1st Shift): 6:30am-3pm
  • Voluntary overtime is offered, with an expectation of consistent participation. Average 5-15 hours of Overtime weekly. Overtime would start at 4:15am if working 1st shift. Overtime could be available as well on a Saturday, or at times Sunday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
