Salary: $26.17/hr

Our client is a multinational technology business that develops, manufactures, and sells semiconductors and infrastructure software. The company first opened the Breinigsville facility in the late 1980s and at one time this facility served as Bell Labs’ world headquarters for optoelectronics.

The company is currently seeking self-motivated individuals to fill the role of Chip Fabrication Operator. This manufacturing position requires the operation of semiconductor processing equipment within a cleanroom environment. In this role, the manufacturing operator is responsible for meeting daily production goals in support of our cleanroom fabrication operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer-based assembly equipment to assemble optical subsystem to meet production and quality goals in a cleanroom environment.
• Follow Quality management procedures and identify quality issues
• Interface appropriately with team to process wafers and components
• Conduct preventative maintenance

Requirements

• Electronics assembly, testing or repair background preferred
• Familiarity with clean room and cleanliness procedures and/or operation of wafer based manufacturing equipment or similar is preferred
• Able to work with limited supervision, is self-directed, and has a methodical approach to solving technical problems and attentive to detail
• Excellent computer skills, primarily in Microsoft Office applications
• Good manual dexterity, and good eyesight
• ESD handling experience a PLUS

This is an Evaluation Hire position paying a starting rate of $26.17/hr. This is a 12-hour rotating position from 6:00pm - 6:00am. The rotating shift requires individuals to work 3 days on, followed by 4 days off. The following week individuals would work 4 days on, followed by 3 days off.
