Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for our Jamestown, NY client. Our client is looking for 2nd shift Machine Operators. This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate output. This role requires mechanical aptitude, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight] and stand for extended periods

Hours are M-F 2pm to 10 pm. Must be able to work overtime. Pay is $20-$22/hr based on experience.
