Position Title: Process Engineer

Position Location: Uxbridge, MA

Position Type/Schedule: Onsite (Monday – Friday)

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000

(Compensation depends on skills, knowledge, education, and experience)

Position Snapshot: The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. This role involves analyzing existing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and designing solutions that enhance productivity, safety, and operational performance.

You’re passionate about improving efficiency, reducing waste, and making processes safer and more reliable. Whether you're collaborating with teams or refining documentation, you bring clarity, curiosity, and a drive for continuous improvement to everything you do.

A day in the life:

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
• Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams
• Identify root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects
• Collect and analyze production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma and other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency
• Assist in the selection, installation, and validation of equipment and tooling to support process improvements
• Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards, and promote a culture of safety
• Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on new or updated processes
• Interfaces with PPS and IT to address impact to production process
• Perform regular audits on production lines
• Participate in global and internal change notices to address impact on production processes

Requirements

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, continuous process improvement, or engineering roles
• Lean Six Sigma or PMP certified
• Experience with CAD tools, ERP systems and data analysis software
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
