.50-.70 FTE, 40-56 Hours a Pay Period
Days/Evenings, Hours between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Weekends: Every Third Weekend
Holidays: Every Third Holiday
Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse – Urgent Care (LPN) is responsible for the care of the clinic patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or the provider. The LPN is responsible to deliver the highest of customer service standards for patients and families presenting for services at Winona Health. The LPN will perform patient care including rooming of patients, performing observations, and gathering of data for the provider. Patient information will be entered into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Direct patient care will include but is not limited to taking of vital signs, monitoring of patients, treatments, administration of medications, scheduling and coordination of care for patients referred for specialty care, and general assistance to the provider as needed. Other responsibilities may include phlebotomy, performing lab tests, and EKG's. In this position, one must be able to assist in other departments if necessary.
