What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our production strategy-designing, developing, and implementing processes that bring Thermon's products to life. You'll champion lean initiatives, lead process improvements, and support new product introductions, all while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Innovate & Implement: Develop new process technologies for existing products and integrate new designs into production.
  • Own the Process: Take full accountability for execution of manufacturing orders/projects in partnership with operations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate across teams to enhance efficiency and support lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Optimize Performance: Improve production KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, and shop efficiency.
  • Design & Develop: Create tools, equipment, production drawings, and routings based on engineering documentation.
  • Train & Support: Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel.
  • Document & Standardize: Write and update SOPs for operational processes.
  • Problem-Solve: Manage Returned Material Requests and contribute to special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with 4 years relevant experience
  • Strong Project Management experience: excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of production principles and techniques.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Solidworks.
  • Strong technical and analytical background
