Our role:

We are currently looking for a Program manager to join our team in Perth. The Program Manager will be accountable for overseeing the delivery of projects and/or programs across all Objective products. This includes providing project assurance and governance where required, establishing long term programs of work, leveraging excellent customer relationships, supporting customer success initiatives, and thinking beyond project scope to achieve great business outcomes for our customers.

This role is critical in the Objective Service Delivery Model and is part of the regional leadership team, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our regional projects.

The role reports to the Regional Services Director (RSD) and may have people management responsibilities.

A day in your role:

  • Lead the delivery of a portfolio of major projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, quality standards, contractual commitments, and financial targets.
  • Establish effective project governance, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure accurate reporting and transparency.
  • Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, act as the escalation point, and represent the program in governance forums and executive updates.
  • Plan and manage regional resourcing in partnership with the Regional Services Director, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective allocation of skills.
  • (Where applicable) Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing consulting team, driving engagement, utilisation, and professional growth.
  • Provide leadership to Engagement Managers and Project Managers, stepping into projects as needed to de-risk and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Own program-level budgets, ensuring alignment with scope, commercial obligations, and accurate financial records.
  • Maintain a comprehensive program-level risk register, proactively identifying, managing, and escalating risks.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive long-term customer success and grow product advocacy across customer sites.
  • Contribute to global initiatives and best practice improvements through the Project Management Community of Practice.
  • Support business development by shaping proposals, defining scope, estimating work packages, and contributing to commercial offerings.
  • Provide accurate inputs into regional forecasting, budgeting, planning cycles, and innovation programs.
  • Maintain a personal billable utilisation target as agreed with the Regional Services Director.

Your skills, experience and beyond:

  • Extensive experience in project and program management, including governance frameworks and delivery methodologies. Proven ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, solution architectures, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
  • Deep expertise in governance, risk mitigation, project commercials, and pricing models.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly engage with customers, engineering, product, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proactively anticipates issues, navigates ambiguity, and resolves conflicts or blockers with sound judgment.
  • Makes timely, informed decisions by assessing risks, evaluating options, and applying strategic judgment.
