The Customer Relations Specialist reports to

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service personnel to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales functions
  • Issue quotes, books orders, coordinates with customers on shipments
  • Develops customer communications regarding orders, shipments and returns (RMA’s)
  • Maintains direct contact with Service customers before and/or after the sale
  • May schedule field service repair calls
  • Works with various departments to process both sales and service transactions for customers
  • Receives customer requests and prepares documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchanges
  • Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules
  • Handles customer requests for additional company materials and documentation
  • May also have some contract administration responsibility, however it does not represent the majority of their work

Skills You Bring:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Experience with SAP and/or CRMs

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 25% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually average
