Summary
The Contract Compliance Specialist directly reports to the Manager of Contract Compliance. The Contract Compliance Specialist is responsible for city compliance related duties and will interact with multiple departments including government relations, accounting, operations, sales, IT, and customer service in order to develop, improve, and ensure that Athens Services is in full contractual compliance with our municipal agreements.
Job Description
- Work with city compliance duties, including, monthly, quarterly, & annual city fee, business licenses, surety bonds and city audits
- Distribution of compliance information within departments, maintaining compliance documentation, and ensuring required information is current
- Maintenance of current due dates with business license renewals, bonds, and additional contract compliance requirements
- Verifying that current franchise contracts are in 100% compliance
- Data reporting validation, preparation and presentation to city officials
- Collaborate with other departments when needed to complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly tasks needed depending on the franchise city
- Update company’s database when changes occur in franchise contracts
- Work on monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting as required
- Ensure company compliance of SB 1383 , AB 341 and AB 1826 programs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a comparable role
- Excellent administrative skills
- Strong user skills in Microsoft Office Suite Access, PowerPoint, MS-Outlook.
- Advanced to Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups and advanced formula utilization).
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties in a team orientated setting
- Outstanding organizational, and oral/written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet project deadline
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
