OUR COMPENSATION PHILOSOPHY
The Restaurant Associate will complete preparation and serving of food items in a retail restaurant setting. The Restaurant Associate is required to have outstanding customer service skills as it is their responsibility to service the customers of the restaurant while ensuring repeat business. The Restaurant Associate must have the ability to work well on a team as well as be a self-start and work independently.
1) Serving customers at various stations such as Deli, Steam/Sautee Station, Salads, Grill, Coffee Station, Prep and Cashiering.
2) Preparation of food items such as; slicing, dicing and mixing of various food items. Utilizing industrial equipment such as; meat slicer, buffalo mixer, food processors and knives of all sizes and shapes.
3) Demonstrates flexibility in being assigned to different positions and stations with in the department.
4) Labels all food product properly according to departmental policy and procedures.
5) Maintains neat and clean uniform and adheres to hair and facial hair restraints according to departmental and the health department standards. Adheres to proper hand washing policy.
6) Promotes good rapport with customers.
7) Demonstrates operational needs of the department and displays team work in assisting their peers.
8) In the absence of the Dish room Attendants, assist in the ware washing of pots and pans, serving trays, utensils and maintaining trash receptacles around the restaurant.
