The Director of Programs will implement and execute policies and leadership to provide the overall direction of the business unit in alignment with the Company and Corporate strategic goals. As one of the senior leaders in the company, the Director of Programs (PNW) independently leads and manages the priorities for business unit operations and responsible for the business unit’s Project Management and Production performance. The Director of Programs (PNW) will plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of subordinate staff managers. The Director of Programs (PNW) is required to optimize the program’s contribution to both the short and long term Company goals. This position must focus on and manage the processes that will control safety, quality, cost, and schedule, as well as, customer satisfaction.
Typically has a MA/MS or BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Science or a related academic field plus 25 years directly related experience, including prior management responsibility in professional services company or related industry.

Reports to the General Manager. Direct and coordinate personally or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of the company.
This is a high impact position with influence on the following: major customer accounts, cost savings to the bottom line profitability of the company, and fulfillment of customer demands.

Pay Range: $137,680- $180,705
The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. At NASSCO Bremerton we anticipate making salary offers between the minimum and midpoint of salary range. Offers will be based on experience, abilities, and knowledge similar to the NASSCO Job being applied for NASSCO employees performing similar work.
